Marriage is challenging and very rewarding, all at the same time. The odds are against those that are married. 50% of marriages fall apart and fail. This is very sad reality.

I believe in marriage and want to offer encouragement, wisdom and guidance from those who have gone before us. Many men and women have spent countless hours nurturing their relationship. There is even a couple who happen to be psychologists, Dr.’s John and Julie Gottman of the Gotten Institute who research relationships to discover what works and what doesn’t work in relationships. They have over 35 years of research on the masters of relationships.
We can learn from their research and from many others to how we can take care of our most important relationships. God has a lot to say about what is good for our marriages as well. There is a lot of helpful information that can lead us to success and fulfillment.
I will do my best to break these time-tested tips down into manageable action steps; provided in video format. Take the challenge with me this year to focus on growing your relationship. It will be worth it.
